ENCE Invited to ESL One New York

ESL Invited ENCE its upcoming ESL One New York event, the tournament organizer announced Monday.

ENCE, a Finnish Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team, is the third team invited to the event. ENCE joins Astralis and Team Liquid at the event. The Finnish squad recently finished second at DreamHack Masters Dallas, falling to Liquid in the final.

Three more teams will receive invites with one team coming from a European qualifier and a North American qualifier.

ESL One New York is the seventh Intel Grand Slam Season 2 event of the year. Team Liquid is one win away from securing the $1 million bonus after winning the ESL Pro League Season 9 Final. If the North American team fails to secure it at either ESL One Cologne or IEM Chicago, New York remains a prime opportunity to do so.

ESL One New York takes place Sept. 26-29 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn with a $200,000 prize pool on the line.
