North Replaces CadiaN with JUGi

North announced two Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster changes Thursday, naming Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså captain and adding Jacob "JUGi" Hansen as the team's new AWPer.

North said goodbye to former in-game leader Casper "cadiaN" Møller to accommodate the changes. The moves come ahead of North's participation in the ESL One Cologne closed qualifier, ESL Pro League Round 2 and DreamHack Masters Dallas.

"I feel that the time has come for me to take on extra responsibilities within the team. Becoming an in-game leader and team captain is not a decision you make overnight. It's something I've thought about many, many times during my career and I knew within myself that the day where I would make that transition was gonna come at one point but I certainly didn't see it coming this early," valde said in the CS:GO announcement.

JUGi joins the Danish team from an underperforming OpTic Gaming team. The new AWPer and in-game leader played together under the Heroic banner.
