B1AD3 Becomes New Na`Vi Esports Director

Andrey "B1AD3" Gorodenskiy has been unveiled as the new esports director for Natus Vincere's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team.

B1AD3 brings a 10-year career playing both Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He was renowned for his skill as an in-game leader. Since he retired from playing professionally in 2015, B1AD3 became a coach working most notably with FlipSid3 Tactics and Gambit Esports. He has also had stints as a tournament analyst.

Na`Vi CEO Yevhen Zolotarov explained his relationship with B1AD3 and the role of esports director that B1AD3 will undertake, "As for the role and tasks of the esports director, essentially it is the main person in the organization in the context of working with teams. This includes personnel and transfer policies, building a system for squad development: determining the schedule of tournaments, boot camps, searching for contractors/employees for physical and psychological preparation of players, building a club infrastructure, etc."

Na`Vi's last big victory in CS:GO was winning BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen in late 2018. Na`Vi has also been invited to ESL One Cologne, which will run from July 2-7.
