StarLadder to Reportedly Host Next CS:GO Major in Berlin

StarLadder has been awarded the next Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major according to a report by Jarek "DeKay' Lewis. The Major will supposedly be hosted in Berlin in fall 2019.

The CS:GO community is in the midst of the current Major as the best teams in the world are currently in Poland or about to head there for the IEM Katowice Major. The New Challengers Stage starts next week.

With the Major ending the first week of March and the next one beginning in the fall, the community would have a six-to-seven month gap between the two Majors. It seems just like IEM and FACEIT, the Major will follow the player break once again.

For the IEM Katowice Major, multiple things were just revealed.

Valve has introduced a variety of new changes for the Katowice Major. This year, Valve is offering the Katowice 2019 Viewer Pass. This pass will allow players to acquire a Katowice 2019 Event Coin that can be upgraded, access to the Katowice Pick’Em Challenge, Team Graffiti, Steam.tv flair, and exclusive access to Katowice 2019 Souvenir Packages.

StarLadder has yet to make an announcement about the news.
