Astralis, the lineup consisting of Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, peter "dupreeh" Rothmann, Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz, Emil "Magisk" Reif and Andreas "xyp9x" Højsleth, will attend the tournament, which takes place July 2-7 in Cologne, Germany.
"Save for their first two appearances of 2018, they placed in the top four of every LAN event they participated in, with wins at the London FaceIt Major, IEM Chicago and the ESL Pro League CS:GO Seasons 7 and 8 Finals along the way," ESL wrote in a news release.
The year has not started particularly strong for Astralis, but the Danish powerhouse remains a heavy favorite heading into the IEM Katowice Major, also operated by ESL, this month.
