AdreN Becomes Free Agent in CS:GO Market
Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev, one of the founding members of Gambit Esports, left the team for free agency Sunday, according to an announcement by the organization.
AdreN is one of the most venerable players in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. His contribution to Gambit Esports was invaluable, leading the team from its early days in CIS Minors to the team's only Major win at PGL Krakow in 2017. He topped that tournament victory off with an MVP title.

Gambit Esports announced it was open to trading the veteran player Oct. 16, when it moved him to a substitute position. At the time, AdreN and the organization framed the move as a chance for him to explore options with different teams, potentially from different regions.
In a statement accompanying the announcement, Gambit Esports' CGO Konstantin Pikiner expressed his gratitude for the time AdreN put in with the organization.
"He is definitely one of the brightest players from CIS in the history of Counter-Strike. I wish him to successfully continue his career and achieve new victories!"
