ENCE Signs Twista as CS:GO Head Coach

ENCE has signed Slaava "Twista" Räsänen as its new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive head coach, according to an announcement made by the organization Thursday.

The organization's announcement extolled Twista's virtues, including his long and storied history in Counter-Strike dating all the way back to CS 1.6. He joins the team just in time to lead it through IEM Chicago qualifiers, ESEA relegation and DreamHack Montreal, the last of which ENCE received an invitation to Aug. 8.

Twista began coaching in 2016, two months into his time with Maltese organization iGame.com. He coached iGame for over a year before transitioning back into playing for six months before ultimately signing on to coach the ENCE roster.

Twista's statement accompanying the announcement of his addition to the team emphasized the need for the team to keep grinding even in the wake of its strong performances at the ASUS ROG Finnish Championships and the Europe Minor Championship London.

ENCE will next compete at the IEM Chicago qu alifiers, and is set to battle Space Soldiers Thursday.
