WESG Addresses CS:GO Prize Money Payment Concerns
WESG put out a statement regarding the money it owes to certain Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players.
The company cites Chinese laws that require large international transactions of money to be verified by the Chinese tax bureau, as one of the reasons why players have not received funds yet. The tournament organizer also said that it paid nearly half of those owed prize money.
Regarding the payment of prize money, rest assured, we are doing everything we can to complete the processes required. Plz coordinate with our staff to ensure the transactions go smoothly. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

This is not the first time the organizers have faced difficulties with its CS:GO tournaments, most notably, the last tournament WESG hosted had horrible hotel conditions. WESG is prepared to host another tournament in the next coming months that will begin towards the end of 2018 and come to a close in the new year.
