OpTic confirm Danish move; ImAPet leaves

The Dallas-based organization now has a fully Danish roster.

As previously reported, OpTic have confirmed the additions to their roster, making them wholly Danish. The new moves also mean that long-suffering coach, Chet "ImAPet" Singh, is also leaving the team.

The new players have been added to the team's ESEA roster in anticipation for the remainder of the season, but will miss out on the match against Dignitas tonight due to the ESL Pro League's roster rules, meaning their first match in the league will be against Liquid on the 26th. This does mean they will be in action at the Finals in Dallas, from May 14th-20th, assuming they qualify from their remaining matches.

OpTic's roster is now:

Дания, Denmark, DK René "cajunb" Borg
Дания, Denmark, DK Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke
Дания, Denmark, DK Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
Дания, Denmark, DK Jakob "JUGi" Hansen
Дания, Denmark, DK Nicklas "gade" Gade (Loan)
Дания, Denmark, DK Casper "ruggah" Due (Coach)

The fates of ImAPet and the two North American players, Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz and Shahzeeb "ShahZaM" Khan, will be on the bench for now. The statement from OpTic said that they are "actively helping [them] seek out and secure new opportunities".

In a Twitter statement, the team's now former coach stated that his time with the various teams helped him grow as a coach, and that owner Hector "H3cz" Rodriguez "has done nothing but the right things behind the scenes" for him and his teammates.

Potential destinations for ImAPet are slim, considering all of the teams in the EPL, and ECS, currently have coaches, leaving him in a similar position to Matt "dayV1D" David, who recently pivoted to looking for analyst roles alongside any coaching ones.
