TACO finally announced by Liquid
The Brazilian, who has been reported to have joined the team for a while now, is formally announced.
Brazilian player Epitacio "TACO" de Melo has been added to Liquid's ESL Pro League teampage, and announced by the organization. He is replacing Lucas "steel" Lopes on the roster, with the latter stepping down.
After countless reports stating the future of the player, TACO was quite notably spotted in a Liquid-exclusive screening of the film Ready Player One. Since then he was spotted sneaking onto the Liquid ESEA roster in anticipation of this week's games.
From then on, many rumours and thoughts on who he was set to replace have been bandied about, and these have now been confirmed by the addition on the ESL Pro League website, with TACO being placed at the top of the roster as a player, with steel set as a substitute. Finally, Liquid confirmed that TACO was joining the team:

According to Liquid's announcement, this is due to steel wanting to "step down from the roster for professional and personal reasons". TACO, on the otherhand, appears to be relishing the challenge according to the statement given to Liquid:
Being able to join the best American organization with the best American CS:GO team is a big opportunity for me. Those guys are extremely talented and I believe that I have what they need to start winning tournaments. Working again with zews made my decision so easy and I’m sure I chose the right place to be at. I just can’t wait to start practicing, bring my experience and help them with whatever they need to become the top 1 team in the world.
God forgives. TACO doesn't.
TACO gets announced after being unable to play in the team's previous ESL Pro League matches, due to a 48-hour requirement stated in their rulebook, he is now set to be free to play from now on. His first appearance with the team will be at DreamHack Masters Marseille, on April 18th against Gambit.
This leaves the Liquid roster as follows:
Nick "nitr0" Cannella
Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski
Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken
Keith "NAF" Markovic
Epitacio "TACO" de Melo
Wilton "zews" Prado (coach)
