sdy returns to Monte

The 29-year-old Ukrainian player Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev is the first confirmed member of Monte's new Counter-Strike 2 lineup, the club announced via its X social media account.

Orudzhev played for ENCE from May 2024 to March 2026, when the organization disbanded its Counter-Strike 2 roster. In April, sdy joined Passion UA on loan, and in June he ended his contract with ENCE and became a free agent. This is not his first stint with Monte, as sdy previously represented the club from 2023 to 2024.

In July, Monte sold the core of their team to Luminocity. The new Monte squad has already been spotted in the open qualifier for Stake Ranked, featuring Alexander "br0" Bro, Cai "CYPHER" Watson, Vladyslav "St0m4k" Lykhoshva, Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski and coach Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen.
