Virtus.pro to miss Thunderpick World Championship 2026

Virtus.pro will miss the upcoming Thunderpick World Championship 2026, which kicks off in Malta in just a few days. The organization officially revealed this on social media.

Dias “F0R3VER” Kutubai has temporarily stepped away from competitive play due to health issues, while Aleksandr “AquaRS” Kovalev has encountered difficulties obtaining a visa.

We explored several options to replace the unavailable players. However, under the current circumstances, securing visas for potential substitutes on such short notice is not feasible.

We sincerely apologize to the organizers, partners, and fans for this unexpected change of plans and thank everyone for their understanding.

The organizers of Thunderpick World Championship 2026 have not yet announced the team that will take Virtus.pro's spot at the event.

Thunderpick World Championship 2026 will take place in Malta from October 14 to 18, 2026, featuring eight teams competing for a prize pool of $500,000. The list of invitees can be found via the link.
