HLTV: Astralis to replace two players

According to unofficial reports, the Danish esports organization Astralis may soon replace two players on its Counter-Strike 2 roster. HLTV.org reported this, citing its own sources.

The players in question are Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard. The former has been with the team since June 2025, while the latter has been an Astralis player for nearly three years.

Both players' contracts with the club are expiring soon: jabbi's deal ends in November, while HooXi's contract runs until the end of the year. Additionally, Victor "Staehr" Staehr extended his contract with Astralis "until 2027" in March 2025. According to insiders, negotiations between the players and the organization have not lead to any conclusion.

Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, who became a free agent a few days ago, is reportedly one of the candidates to fill the vacant position.

Astralis currently sits 10th in Valve's official world ranking of Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad recently won the Stake Ranked Episode 4 LAN tournament.

 Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard
