Envy teases return to Counter-Strike

North American esports organization Envy has hinted at an imminent return to the pro Counter-Strike scene with a new roster. The teaser was posted on the club's X social media account.

Envy did not reveal any specific details, sharing only a short video featuring a Counter-Strike bomb; at the end of the clip, the word "Envy" appears on the device's display. Rumors had previously circulated that the American club might fully acquire the 3DMAX roster.

Envy was founded in 2007 and entered the pro CS:GO scene in early 2015 by acquiring the LDLC roster. In 2018, the organization moved away from its French lineup in favor of North American players. The club revealed its departure from the discipline in 2021. In 2022, Envy ceased operations after becoming part of the OpTic brand. Finally, the club was revived in January 2025, launching rosters for VALORANT and Marvel Rivals.
