Official: Second CS2 Major of 2027 to take place in Shanghai

Perfect World has officially confirmed that the second Counter-Strike 2 Major of 2027 will be held in Shanghai, China. The announcement was made on X.

The tournament will run from November 22 to December 12 and feature four stages. The event's total prize pool is expected to amount to $1.25 million, to be shared among 32 squads.

Notably, the first Counter-Strike 2 Major of 2027 will be organized by FiReSPORTS and run in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from May 31 to June 20. Participants will compete for a prize pool of $1.25 million.
