G2 and MIBR through to FISSURE Playground 3 semi-finals

First day of the FISSURE Playground 3 Counter-Strike 2 playoffs has concluded, determining the event's final semi-finalists.

In the first round of the playoffs, MIBR defeated Alliance (13:4 on Inferno, 13:9 on Cache), while G2 secured a victory over FURIA (16:14 on Ancient, 13:3 on Dust2). The losing teams finished in 5th-6th place, earning $25,000 in prize money each. The winners advanced to the next round of the bracket, where they will face Legacy and BetBoom Team, respectively, tomorrow.

FISSURE Playground 3 is taking place from September 8 to 13, 2026, in Suzhou, China. The event features a total prize pool of $1 million, to be shared among 16 squads. Further details about the competition can be found in our news article.
