Opening matches of the group stage of FISSURE Playground 3 have concluded, bringing eight teams one step closer to reaching the final stage of the event.

In the first round of Group A, 9z defeated 5star (13:3 on Cache, 13:4 on Nuke), MIBR bested The MongolZ (5:13 on Ancient, 13:10 on Mirage, 16:12 on Inferno), Astralis got the better of G2 (13:9 on Ancient, 17:19 on Mirage, 13:5 on Inferno), while BetBoom Team prevailed over BIG (13:8 on Cache, 13:9 on Nuke).

In the first round of Group B, Legacy defeated magic (13:7 on Ancient, 7:13 on Dust2, 16:14 on Mirage), Alliance bested FaZe (13:9 on Ancient, 13:11 on Nuke), PARIVISION dispatched TYLOO (13:11 on Inferno, 13:4 on Ancient), while FURIA took down GamerLegion (11:13 on Cache, 13:10 on Mirage, 13:3 on Dust2).

The losing squads dropped to the lower bracket, while the winners advanced to the winners' round. Notably, three teams from each group will advance to the FISSURE Playground 3 playoffs: the winners will advance directly to the semi-finals, while the teams that place second and third will go to the quarter-finals.
