Esports World Cup 2026 best five unveiled

HLTV.org has revealed the best players of Esports World Cup 2026 in each role – two representatives from Team Spirit and Legacy, and one FURIA player.

Boris "magixx" Vorobiev was named the best IGL of the recent event; Santino "try" Rigal was named the strongest AWPer; Danil "donk" Kryshkovets was named the best opener; Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato was named the tournament's closer; and Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira was chosen as the event's best anchor.

HLTV also published a list of esports athletes awarded the title of Extremely Valuable Player (EVP) following the recent competition in Paris.

The Esports World Cup 2026 took place from August 12th to 23rd, 2026, in Paris, France. The total prize pool of the competition amounted to $2 million, shared among 32 rosters. In the final, Team Spirit defeated FUT with a scoreline of 3-1. Danil "donk" Kryshkovets was chosen the tournament's most valuable player.
