Luminocity signs kakafu

Esports organization Luminocity officially announced the signing of Alexander "kakafu" Szymanczyk as head coach of their Counter-Strike 2 roster. The statement was published on X.

The Austrian esports athlete unofficially coached the squad at XSE Pro League 2026 and Esports World Cup 2026, where the team finished last. kakafu was the coach of the Monte roster, which moved to Luminocity on July 1st.

Currently, Luminocity is 39th in Valve's official ranking of the best Counter-Strike 2 teams in the world. Today, the club benched Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras.
