Team Spirit tops HLTV ranking after winning Esports World Cup 2026

HLTV.org has released an updated ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. Team Spirit rose to first place after winning Esports World Cup 2026, pushing Falcons to No. 2.

FUT also moved up eight positions in the list, entering the top six. Legacy, meanwhile, climbed from No. 12 to No. 7. NAVI dropped to eighth place, while G2 entered the top nine. FaZe, Aurora, and 9z each lost three positions in the ranking and now occupy 10th, 11th, and 12th places, respectively.

Over the past week, several other squads have shown progress – GamerLegion, magic, JiJieHao, and others. On the contrary, Astralis, The MongolZ, paiN, and others have worsened their positions in the list.

HLTV's ranking is updated weekly and primarily takes into account the results of the last two months. Teams' achievements over the past year are also considered, with the number of points for past successes decreasing each month.
