B8 and FUT qualify for Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs

Second day of the Counter-Strike 2 LAN tournament Esports World Cup 2026, currently underway in Paris, has concluded. Participants played six more group stage matches today.

In Group C, B8 defeated Vitality, while FUT bested MOUZ – the winners of these matches advanced to the tournament's playoffs. Additionally, in the lower bracket, Lynn Vision got the better of TYLOO, while PARIVISION prevailed over 100 Thieves – the losing squads were eliminated.

In Group B, NIP defeated BetBoom Team, while MIBR dispatched K27 – the losers ended their participation in the competition. All matches were best-of-three.

Esports World Cup 2026 will take place from August 12 to 23, 2026, in Paris, France. The total prize pool of the event is $2 million, which will be divided among 32 squads. More detailed information about the competition can be found via the link.
