Official: Liquid signs Jorko

17-year-old Bulgarian esports athlete Georgi "Jorko" Mitev has officially taken over as the new AWPer for Liquid's Counter-Strike 2 roster, replacing Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak, who was benched today.

Jorko has been playing for FOKUS since February of this year, and was previously part of Copenhagen Wolves. Mitev's average rating over the past three months is 1.10 (in 53 maps).

Liquid is currently 40th among the world's top Counter-Strike 2 teams according to Valve. The squad placed 25th-27th at the recent IEM Cologne Major 2026 in Cologne.
