Liquid benches ultimate

22-year-old Polish esports athlete Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak has officially departed Liquid's active Counter-Strike 2 roster, with the organization benching him.

ultimate has competed for Liquid for the past two years, since July 2024. His average rating over the past three months is 0.97 (in 25 maps). Rumor has it that the vacant spot on the team will be filled by 17-year-old Bulgarian AWPer Georgi "Jorko" Mitev, who has been a FOKUS player since February of this year.

Liquid is currently 40th among the world's top Counter-Strike 2 teams according to Valve. The team placed 25th-27th at the recent IEM Cologne Major 2026.
