Cache added to ESL tournament map pool

Tournament operator ESL announced map pool changes for all ESL Pro Tour Counter-Strike 2 events. This decision follows Valve's announcement, which removed Overpass and added Cache to the active competitive map pool for the new season.

ESL's debut tournament featuring the new map will be the first European Cup of ESL Challenger League Season 52, which will take place from July 12th to 14th.

Cache has already appeared in lower-tier competitions (CCT and European Pro League), and the map will make its Tier 1 debut at Chinese XSE Pro League 2026, which kicks off on July 1st. BLAST also previously added the map to its tournament map pool.
