100 Thieves benches Ag1l

American esports club 100 Thieves has officially announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: André "Ag1l" Gil has been benched.

The 23-year-old Portuguese esports athlete has been playing for 100 Thieves since January of this year, having previously been part of SAW. Ag1l's average rating over the past three months is 1.00 (in 74 maps). His replacement is still unknown.

Earlier, a rumor surfaced on the web that Monte's Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen could take over as the new IGL of 100 Thieves. According to media reports, the 22-year-old Briton will replace Håvard "rain" Nygaard.

Currently, 100 Thieves is 44th in Valve's official ranking of the best Counter-Strike 2 teams in the world. The squad did not participate in IEM Cologne Major 2026.
