FaZe signs BIG Academy player on loan

Esports organization FaZe has announced the newest member of its Counter-Strike 2 roster: 20-year-old Dane Jason "JBOEN" Boe Nielsen, who has been playing for BIG Academy since September last year. JBOEN has joined the FaZe roster on a loan deal until the end of this year.

Notably, FaZe also announced today the benching of Helvijs "broky" Saukantz. The 25-year-old Latvian esports athlete has represented FaZe for nearly seven years. Rumors suggest the club will sign Ryan "Neityu" Aubry, who has been playing as a stand-in for the squad for the past few weeks, to a full-time contract.

FaZe currently sits 23rd in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad failed to qualify for IEM Cologne Major 2026. The roster will compete at the XSE Pro League 2026 LAN tournament in China, which starts on July 1.
