G2 replaced SunPayus

Esports organization G2 has officially announced a change to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The club has benched Álvaro "SunPayus" García.

The 27-year-old Spanish esports athlete has been with the team since June of last year, recording an average rating of 1.05. The vacant position on G2's roster has been filled by Artem "r1nkle" Moroz, who had been benched by NIP since April of this year.

G2 currently sits 9th in Valve's official ranking of the world's best Counter-Strike 2 teams. The team placed 5th-8th at IEM Cologne Major 2026.
