Gaimin Gladiators benches entire Counter-Strike 2 roster

Esports organization Gaimin Gladiators has benched and placed its entire Counter-Strike 2 roster up for transfer, with the exception of Fernando "fer" Alvarenga, who has departed the club. The list includes Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato, Henrique "HEN1" Teles, and Luca "Luken" Nadotti.

According to the club's official statement, one of the reasons for this decision was "recent changes in the Majors ecosystem and revenue distribution structure". However, Gaimin Gladiators does not plan to completely withdraw from the discipline. Notably, Jhonatan "JOTA" Willian and João "horvy" Horvath also departed the squad a few days ago.

At the time of their disbandment, Gaimin Gladiators ranked 65th in Valve's ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. The roster did not win a single match in the first stage of IEM Cologne Major 2026.
