ESL reveal new CS2 tournament in the USA

Tournament operator ESL has announced another IEM tournament in the USA, scheduled for April 5-11, 2027. The host city has not yet been announced.

The tournament's total prize pool will amount to $1 million, divided among 16 squads, 11 of which will qualify based on the global VRS ranking. One additional invite will be awarded through the North American and South American VRS rankings, while the remaining three teams will be determined through qualifiers (two through the global qualifier and one through the American qualifier).

The competition will begin with a group stage featuring two groups of eight teams, played in a Double Elimination format. The top four rosters from each group will advance to the playoffs (Single Elimination).
