Parken Challenger Championship expands CS2 tournament format
Organizers of the Parken Challenger Championship have announced an expansion of the format for the next eight events in their open LAN series for Counter-Strike 2.
The tournaments will now feature 24 teams (up from 18). Of these, 20 will compete in the open group stage, while four higher-seeded teams will receive direct invites to the playoffs, which will feature a 16-team Double Elimination bracket. The prize pool of each event has been increased to $25,000.
These changes will apply to the next eight competitions in the series, scheduled to take place on the dates listed below.

#10 - July 14-16
#11 - July 28-30
#12 - August 11-13
#13 - August 21-23
#14 - September 18-20
#15 - October 4-6
#16 - October 14-16
Notably, Ukrainian squad B8 won Parken Challenger Championship Season 3, a smaller LAN event held from March 31 to April 2 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
