Vitality wins IEM Rio 2026

Dan "apEX" Madesclaire's squad has won the IEM Rio 2026 Counter-Strike 2 LAN event, which took place from April 13-19 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

In the grand final, Vitality defeated Team Spirit with a scoreline of 3:0 (16:13 on Mirage, 13:10 on Nuke, 13:5 on Dust2).

En route to the final, team also eliminated FURIA and NAVI from the tournament. Team Spirit, in turn, took down Falcons and MOUZ.

For first place, Vitality received $125,000 in prize money. The runner-up earned $50,000. Falcons and FURIA secured $30,000 and $20,000 respectively for third and fourth place. The total prize pool of the event amounted to $300,000.
