kAlash leaves HOTU
Another player has departed HOTU's Counter-Strike 2 roster, as Altair "kAlash" Askarov has left the team. He had been competing for the squad since October of last year on a loan deal from AMKAL. The club officially announced this on social media.
Average rating of "kAlash" over the past three months stands at 1.01 (across 97 maps). It is not yet known who will replace him in the lineup.
A few days ago, esports organization HOTU also moved in-game leader Suleimen "dukefissura" Orazaly to the bench. The esports athlete noted that it was his own decision.
At the moment, HOTU sits 40th in the official ranking of the world’s strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams according to Valve. Squad placed 9th-12th at IEM Rio 2026. Team did not qualify for IEM Cologne Major 2026.
