NIP benches r1nkle

Swedish esports club NIP announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: the organization benched Artem "r1nkle" Moroz. The official statement was published on the X social media platform.

Throughout his time with us, he has been the definition of a true professional, always committed, hardworking, and a great teammate both in and out of the server.

However, as a team, we feel the need to explore a different direction in terms of roles and dynamics within the roster.

These kinds of decisions are never easy, especially when they involve someone who has given so much to the team.

The 21-year-old Ukrainian esports athlete played for NIP for two years, since April 2024. r1nkle's average rating over the past three months is 1.08 (in 63 maps). His replacement is still unknown.

NIP currently sits 30th in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad failed to qualify for IEM Cologne Major 2026.

 NIP are now:

 Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
 Rasmus "sjuush" Beck
 Kacper "xKacpersky" Gabara
 Artem "cairne" Mushynskyi

 Richard "Xizt" Landström (coach)
