IEM Rio 2026 viewer's guide
From April 13th to 19th, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will host another big LAN tournament, IEM Rio 2026. Sixteen teams will compete for a $300,000 prize pool.
The event's group stage will be played in a GSL format (two groups of eight squads). The three strongest rosters from each group will advance to the playoffs, which will be held in a Single Elimination format. The group winners will go directly to the semi-finals.
All matches in the competition, except the final, will play out in a best-of-three format, while the final will be a best-of-five match.
