RED Canids replace history with academy player

Brazilian esports club RED Canids announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: the organization has parted ways with Alan "history" Lawrence, who has played for the team since last summer. The official statement was published on the X social media platform.

history's average rating over the past three months is 1.09 (in 88 maps). The vacant roster spot has been filled by 20-year-old Brazilian AWPer Renan "reNTU" Cardoso, who previously competed for the RED Canids academy.

RED Canids currently sits 59th in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad will compete at IEM Rio 2026, which kicks off on April 13.
