NEO: "The first one in my journey as a coach has just come to its completion. I move forward"

Now former FaZe coach Filip "NEO" Kubski posted a statement via his X social media account, commenting on his departure from the team.

959 days.
Defeats and victories.
Win streaks and dominance.
Final after final.
Farewells and new arrivals.
Departures and returns.
Challenges, challenges, challenges.

A time when your teammates are almost the only people you see every single day.
Moments of doubt and moments of euphoria.
A time of shining glory and the darkness of defeat.

959 days.
A kind of magic others envy.
Because, after all – this is FaZe Clan!
It will remain one of the most beautiful memories I’ve had in esports.
An experience that makes you better, stronger, and always hungry for more.

That’s a really long time.
Long enough to start thinking about the next step.
Because the first one in my journey as a coach – has just come to its completion.

I move forward, toward new challenges, with the feeling that together with the whole Team we wrote some truly beautiful moments in the history of FaZe Clan.
Despite many odds, we kept moving forward, rising again and again to truly great heights. We had long conversations with the management about the challenges we face today, and the decision was mutual – and above all, very mature and professional.

It’s time to pass the helm so that perhaps a new maneuver can lift FaZe Clan back to the level where we stood not so long ago.

What a flight it was, boys!

959 days.
I don’t regret a single one of them, and I’m proud of every one of you.
Once you’ve been in this Clan, you remain part of it for life – that much I know for sure.

Kubski had been with FaZe since July 2023. Analyst Dominik "GruBy" Swiderski will take over as the team's interim head coach while the club searches for a suitable replacement for NEO.
