BC.Game withdraw from JOURNEY Spring: "Our full focus now is to fix our chemistry"

BC.Game withdrew from a small LAN tournament ROG JOURNEY Spring, which will take place from March 23rd to 28th in Stockholm, Sweden. The prize pool for the event is $30,000.

The competition organizers have already completed the draw. BC.Game will forfeit in all of its matches at the tournament. Consequently, the squad will lose VRS points and drop further in the ranking.

A club representative commented on the team's decision to withdraw from ROG JOURNEY Spring:

We’ve decided to withdraw from Journey. Me and the players know that our current results are not good enough. We’ve been strong in practice, but we haven’t delivered in officials, and we’ve lost games we shouldn’t be losing. Everyone knows these results don’t reflect the team we are or the experience behind this lineup.

With Tier 1 tournaments coming up, our full focus now is to fix our chemistry and make sure we deliver for the future of this project.

To everyone who’s been supporting us, we see you, and we’re sorry. This isn’t the level you should expect from us, and we take full responsibility for that.

To everyone doubting us… keep crying. We’re not going anywhere.

Currently, BC.Game sits 44th in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams.
