PGL Bucharest 2027 details announced

Tournament operator PGL has announced details of the upcoming PGL Bucharest 2027 Counter-Strike 2 tournament. The competition will take place from January 17th to 24th, 2027, in Bucharest, Romania. The event will overlap with BLAST Bounty 2027 Season 1, which will take place from January 11th to 24th in Malta.

The tournament will feature 16 squads, 14 of which will be directly invited based on Valve's ranking. Two more rosters will advance through the European closed qualifier, which will feature six invitees and two winners of the open qualifiers.

The prize pool of the event will amount to $1 million. The organizers will also give out an additional $400,000 in bonuses to the teams.

Notably, PGL Bucharest 2026 will play out from April 4 to 11, 2026, in Bucharest, Romania. The event's prize pool will be $625,000, divided among 16 squads. The list of competition participants can be found via the link.
