Insider: FaZe to open CS2 academy

According to unconfirmed reports, the esports organization FaZe is planning to launch its own Counter-Strike 2 academy. Gromov announced this via his personal Telegram channel.

According to the insider, 31-year-old Danish esports athlete Nicklas "gade" Gade, who retired from the pro Counter-Strike scene in 2021, will coach FaZe's youth squad.

Gade's previous team was BIG, which he represented from July to December 2021. Prior to that, the Dane also competed for North, OpTic Gaming, and other teams. Over the course of his pro career, which kicked off in 2015, he has earned $116,000 in prizes.
