ESL Pro League Season 23 first round matchups announced

Organizers of the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 23 Counter-Strike 2 tournament have released the seeding, revealing the first round matchups for the first stage of the event.

PARIVISION will debut against SemperFi, G2 will face Gaimin Gladiators, Astralis will fight Monte, while Liquid will compete against Passion UA.

The competition will be divided into three parts. The first stage will play out in a Swiss format, with the top eight squads advancing to the second stage, where they will be joined by eight more invitees. The second stage will also use the Swiss format. The top eight rosters will then go to the playoffs, which will take place in a Single Elimination format.

ESL Pro League Season 23 will run from March 1 to March 15, 2026. The final stage will be held in Stockholm, Sweden. The tournament prize pool will amount to 400,000 US dollars.
