FiREMAJOR Buenos Aires 2027 announced

First Counter-Strike 2 Major in 2027 will take place in June in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and will be organized by FiReSPORTS. The tournament operator officially announced this via its X social media account.

The venue, format, number of participants, and prize pool for the event will be revealed at a later date.

FiREMAJOR Buenos Aires 2027 will be the second Major in South America, following IEM Rio 2022. Notably, the 2026 Majors will be held in Cologne (IEM Cologne Major 2026) and Singapore (PGL Singapore Major 2026).

Rumors also suggest that the second Counter-Strike 2 Major in 2027 will take place in Shanghai, China. Furthermore, it was reported that CS2 developers have already selected the companies that will host the 2028 Majors – ESL and BLAST have won the tenders.
