IEM Rio 2026 invites announced

Tournament operator ESL has revealed the full list of teams invited to participate in the upcoming IEM Rio 2026 Counter-Strike 2 event, which will take place this April.

Vitality, MOUZ, Team Spirit, Falcons, NAVI, FURIA, and many others have received invites to the competition(based on Valve's official ranking) – 13 teams in total. Several other squads have received invites to closed qualifiers (global and American).

The tournament will be divided into two parts: the group stage (Double Elimination, BO3 matches, three rosters from each group advance, with the winners getting directly into the semi-finals) and the playoffs (Single Elimination, BO3, BO5 in the final).

IEM Rio 2026 will be held from April 13-19, 2026, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event's prize fund will amount to $300,000.
