BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1 viewer's guide

First tournament of the new season in Counter-Strike 2 – BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1 – kicks off on January 13. The first part of the competition will be held online from January 13 to 18. The LAN final is scheduled for January 22-25. The format of both stages is Single Elimination BO3.

A distinctive feature of the BLAST Bounty series tournaments is the "bounty" for each team, assigned by the organizers according to the seeding in the bracket. The winner will secure half of the bounty of the defeated opponent; the remaining 50% will be carried over to the next match as the "bounty" for the winner.

FURIA, Falcons, Vitality and Aurora are in the category with the highest starting reward – $60,000; they are followed by Team Spirit, NAVI, Astralis and Liquid ($30,000); then come FaZe, HEROIC, paiN and 3DMAX ($20,000) and FUT, Gentle Mates, GamerLegion and PARIVISION ($15,000). The remaining rosters were defined as outsiders without a bonus – they took turns choosing their opponents in the first round.

A total of 32 teams will participate in the first stage of the event – they were invited directly based on Valve's ranking. The eight strongest squads will advance to the LAN final, which will play out at the BLAST studio in Malta. The prize pool for the LAN final will amount to $500,000.
