Astralis completes its CS2 roster

Danish esports club Astralis has officially introduced two new members to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: Gytis "ryu" Glušauskas and Love "phzy" Smidebrant. The organization acquired them from Monte and 9INE, respectively.

Glušauskas and Smidebrant replaced Nicolai "device" Reedtz and Emil "Magisk" Reif, who left the team late last month.

Notably, in Astralis's history, the club has only had one non-Danish player: at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2017, Sweden's Dennis "dennis" Edman replaced device as a stand-in.

Astralis currently sits 15th in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 squads. The team placed 17-19th at the recent StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 in Hungary.

 Astralis are now:

 Viktor "Staehr" Staehr
 Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard
 Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen
 Gytis "ryu" Glušauskas
 Love "phzy" Smidebrant

 Casper "ruggah" Due (coach)
