Official: Qikert departs MIBR

27-year-old Kazakhstani esports athlete Aleksei "Qikert" Golubev has officially left MIBR's Counter-Strike 2 roster. He revealed the news via his X social media account, announcing his search for a new team.

After the Major, there were a lot of thoughts, but the main one is that it’s time to return to the IGL role again. I know I’m capable of more, and I’m ready to prove it. I’m excited to start looking for a new team as a captain. My goal remains unchanged – to return to Tier-1 tournaments and compete at the highest level. Don’t rush to judge me based on this strange season.

There were many circumstances that prevented any of the MIBR players from showing their true level. I did right conclusions and I will break through this. Judge me and my future team by results. Playbook, structure, protocols, reactions, vision and everything needed to build a strong team is ready.

Golubev joined MIBR on a loan deal last September. Previously, he competed for PARIVISION. According to media reports, the Brazilian club was interested in continuing to work with Qikert, but the two sides were unable to reach a new agreement, and Aleksei has now returned to PARIVISION's bench. Qikert's average rating over the past three months is 0.89 (in 30 maps).

Notably, MIBR finished recent StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 in 23rd-24th place. The squad currently sits 52nd in Valve's world ranking. Assistant coach Guilherme "texxas" Mayworm and coach Jhonatan "jnt" Silva also recently parted ways with the team.

 MIBR are now:

 Raphael "exit" Lacerda
 Felipe "insani" Yuji
 Breno "brnz4n" Poletto
 Klimentii "kl1m" Krivosheev
