oSee returns to NRG

American esports club NRG has announced a change in its Counter-Strike 2 roster: Zack "XotiC" Elshani has departed the team. The official statement was published on the X social media.

The 24-year-old American esports athlete explained his departure from the squad as follows:

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to step down from the NRG CS2 team. Balancing competitive CS with running multiple businesses has become increasingly difficult, and trying to split my focus has ultimately meant neither gets the attention it deserves. It wouldn’t be fair to the team for me to continue when that spot could be filled by someone who can fully dedicate themselves to CS.

I’m incredibly grateful to NRG for the opportunity. Getting to attend my first LAN, my first Major, and play alongside some insanely talented players is something I’ll always appreciate. Thank you to everyone at NRG for the support and trust. I wish the team nothing but success, and I’ll be cheering you all on moving forward. It’s truly been a pleasure.

Elshani joined NRG in July of this year. His average rating over the past three months is 1.12 (in 40 maps). The vacant position on the roster has been filled by Josh "oSee" Ohm, who had been benched by NRG since July of this year.

NRG currently sits 32nd in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. The updated roster will debut at Fragadelphia Miami, which will be held from January 2nd to 4th next year. Assistant coach Viacheslav "innersh1ne" Britvin also recently parted ways with the team.

 NRG are now:

 Jeorge "Jeorge" Endicott
 Nick "nitr0" Cannella
 Alexander "br0" Bro
 Zack "XotiC" Elshani
 Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek

 Damian "daps" Steele (coach)
