ECSTATIC to replace Imperial at BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1

Tournament operator BLAST has announced a roster change for the upcoming BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1 Counter-Strike 2 event, which will take place next month.

Brazilian team Imperial will miss the competition for an unknown reason. The vacant berth at BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1 has been awarded to ECSTATIC.

The online stage of BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1 will be held from January 13-18, 2026, in a Single Elimination format. The top eight teams will travel to Malta, where the LAN finals will play out from January 22-25. The prize pool of the tournament has not yet been revealed (previously, squads competed for $500,000 at BLAST Bounty events). The full team list can be found in our article.
