mithR to coach JiJieHao at LAN tournament in China

35-year-old Danish esports athlete Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg has taken over as the coach of JiJieHao's Counter-Strike 2 roster. He will help the team compete at the upcoming eXTREMESLAND 2025 LAN tournament in China. Nyborg revealed the news via his X social media account. It is unknown whether mithR will continue to coach the club after eXTREMESLAND 2025.

Notably, mithR worked with Liquid from July 2024 to March 2025, while prior to that, he coached Apeks, MOUZ, Renegades, and other clubs. In July of this year, Nyborg became the interim coach of Complexity.

JiJieHao currently sits 92nd in Valve's ranking of the world's best Counter-Strike 2 teams. Mohammad "⁠BOROS" Malhas rejoined the squad last month.

eXTREMESLAND 2025 will be held from December 18th to 21st in Shanghai, China. The event's total prize pool will amount to $150,000, split among 12 rosters.
