G2's assistant coach parts ways with team

German esports club G2 has announced the departure of Aymen "Aymeinstein" Bencheikh, who served as the team's assistant coach for the past year and a half. The official statement was published on the organization's X social media account.

In his coaching career, which kicked off in 2021, 29-year-old Aymeinstein has worked with teams such as GenOne & GenOne Academy, Gucci Academy, and Soda (besides G2). The Frenchman has already revealed his search for a new home.

G2 is currently 9th among the world's top Counter-Strike 2 teams according to Valve. The roster placed 9th-11th at StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, finishing the third stage with a 2-3 match record.
