AMKAL benches its entire CS2 roster

Esports organization AMKAL benched its entire Counter-Strike 2 roster. The official announcement was published on the club's Telegram channel.

Given the current circumstances, our results are far from what we expected. We are benching our roster and taking a pause until the end of the season to determine a new direction.

Notably, at the end of September of this year, AMKAL announced changes to its lineup: Dmitry "⁠sstiNiX⁠" Khlebnikov and Artem "⁠iDISBALANCE⁠" Egorov departed the team. The vacant positions were filled by Abdurakhim "⁠mo0N⁠" Issa and Aleksandr "⁠KENSI⁠" Gurkin.

AMKAL currently sits 123rd in Valve's official ranking of the best Counter-Strike 2 squads in the world. The team recently placed second at OMEN Retake Season 11 Finals.
